At the time, there were no ski sports shops that offered specialized services, and Fire on the Mountain quickly became the hub for serious ski enthusiasts. Fire on the Mountain rapidly gained a loyal following of customers who had an appreciation for their exceptional knowledge and attention to detail. Year after year, the owners would spend time in Colorado, Utah or Wyoming and always return home with exciting products for the new season. The mid nineties welcomed the snowboard room known as Burning Boards. Fire On The Mountain began specializing in back country skiing and split boarding over 15 years ago and is now one of the leading shops in that category in New England.”
