With the nice weather comes house projects, both inside and out your home. Have you come across something that you can’t do but don’t know who to call? Check out Just In Time Odd Jobs, this month’s Local Business Feature!
What is your business, and what do you do?
For the past 20 years I have run a handyman business called Just In Time Odd Jobs, LLC. With this business I do everything from property clean outs, organizing, dump runs, light demolition to hanging paintings, curtains, rearranging furniture and every odd job that you could possibly think of.
(Bye bye hot tub! That’s definitely a job we’d delegate!)
Tell us about the “AHA! Moment!” that led you to start your business.
I was 20 and having worked in most of the trades already, I wanted to venture out on my own, but didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do. One of the customers that I was working for several times told me that I am always “just in time for their odd jobs”. “Just in time” was always a nickname and it just fit together perfectly.
What do you love about your job?
What I love about my job is the flexibility that it offers and the great customers that I meet, many of whom I have developed a friendship with. I’ve enjoyed some of the great houses that I get to work in and the fact that everyday is something new.
What makes you different from others in your industry?
What makes me different from most is that I am the person that customers call when they don’t know who else to contact. I am willing to take on the small jobs that the big guys don’t want to do.
What’s your Service Area?
My service area is Kittery through Kennebunk, although most of my business is in Ogunquit and Wells.
Where can customers learn more about your business?
I don’t advertise any longer and all of my business comes from returning customers or word of mouth. However, I am on Facebook, Just In Time Odd Jobs LLC.
What’s the best way to contact you for more information?
The best way to contact me is to call or text at 207-337-2626 or of course email, [email protected].
What a GREAT business! As Realtors, we often run into the challenge of finding a handyman or contractor willing to come over and just do some touch up or minor repairs. We love that Justin is our “yes man” for these critically important needs! Whether you’re looking to accomplish some general maintenance or need some help touching the house up for sale, Justin is your man.
Justin has beautiful before and after shots on his Facebook page from home clean outs to hauling out a hot tub, so if you’d like to see his work first-hand, pop on over and check out his portfolio.
