What is your business, and what do you do?
I am Evergreen Vintage and I buy old clothing. Whether you need to find new homes for special inherited items, or want to downsize before a move, I come to you and buy your items directly. Was it made before 2000? I want to see it! From t-shirts to gowns to bath towels, I want to see it all. While I can’t offer to pay what you might earn consigning your pieces, I can offer you home visit convenience so you can make space in your closet and earn some money in one day. Donating items is a great option, but there is no guarantee they will be treated well, or even make it onto the sales floor. I make sure your items are available to people who are passionate about vintage fashion and will give your valued pieces new life.
Tell us about the “AHA! Moment!” that led you to start your business.
Looking for a house got me chatting with realtors, and I realized they had clients who needed help clearing their closets. It felt like a perfect match.
What do you love about your job?
I grew up in a family passionate about fashion, art, and history. Vintage fashion is this magical intersection of art, history, and personal experience. I love hunting for this anthropological treasure, hearing the stories behind special pieces, and giving those pieces a new life. I treasure the moments I have with my retail customers when they find pieces that make them light up. If you love what you’re wearing, everything is better, especially when you are wearing vintage.
What makes you different from others in your industry?
Convenience and heart. Get it done in a day and know you sent your things with someone who cares.
What’s your Service Area?
The greater seacoast area.
