What is your business, and what do you do? Dog Pound Discs is a disc golf retailer. We sell discs, accessories and clothing online and locally out of our home. We also travel around NH/ME to tournaments and leagues and set up our mobile shop out of our van.
Tell us about the “AHA! Moment!” that led you to start your business. Dave has had a passion for disc golf since he started playing years ago. He was always searching for new discs to try out himself and was becoming a disc collector of sorts. It just made sense to turn that into a side hustle and everything sort of grew from there. Our ultimate goal is to someday have our own course and a small storefront where we can sell our discs from.
What do you love about your job? We love getting out in nature to play disc golf! It’s 
always a fun time to set up at tournaments and meet people while they play. The disc golf community is incredibly supportive and we are so grateful to be a part of it. We also love giving back and supporting our team of players. We have a great team that are active in the disc golf community and working to grow the sport. Our team members have been involved in hosting tournaments and leagues as well as fundraising for various community events and causes. Dave has also expanded his resume by becoming a published author with his first book called “Disc Golf with Dad!” that he wrote for our daughter Gwendolyn! We love having a small family business!
What is your Service Area? We can ship products anywhere in the US! Locally, you can find us in the seacoast NH and southern ME area traveling around to different courses (Dover, Rochester and North Berwick to name a few).
