It’s been a challenging couple of years with limited inventory, wouldn’t you say? At this point, Tiffany and I are struggling to find a couple quality properties for these particular clients. We’re hoping by sharing this list with our readers, you may know someone who is thinking about selling!
Please feel free to forward to a homeowner you know that’s thinking about a move. If we can help you or someone you know with Real Estate, please connect us!
45 minutes to Stratham – This young couple is looking for their first home, ideally within a 45m commute to Stratham. A 2-3 bedroom single family home is ideal, with some yard space where they can hang out, garden, and entertain. They recently rescued a bonded pair of cats and would love to have a bigger home to stretch out in. They’re well qualified, with a Conventional Loan. They’re open to cosmetic updates, but no major rehabs (first home, remember?!) Ideally, we’d like to keep their price under $300,000. They’re presently renting and don’t have a home to sell.
Close-ish to Dover – With roots around Dover, this couple is looking for single-floor living within 60 minutes of their friends and family. They love the outdoors, so a home close to hiking and paddling is idea. They’d love a 3 bedroom home where they can host holidays and sleepovers with the grandkids. A home with minimum work needed so they can enjoy retirement is a must. They’re temporarily renting, and do not have a home to sell. They’re looking for a ranch under $400,000.
Room to grow – Have you ever lived with family? It gets old, quick! This young family has been on the hunt for a home for some time now. We’ve been scouring the market within a 45 minute commute to Rochester for a duplex. As first time homebuyers, they’re taking advantage of the 3.5% First Time Homebuyers Loan, which means we need a property in solid shape, with no peeling/chipping paint (that’s a loan requirement). With a 2 year old child, this family needs a 2-unit home with a yard for play. Our ideal price point is under $400,000. Do you know of anything planning to sell a duplex?
City life, please! For some folks, condo life is THE life! Presently this client lives in a rural area and is hoping for a bigger unit closer to friends and amenities. Ideally, her next home will be walkable to Portsmouth or Dover where she can grab a cup of coffee, walk to dinner, or grab a drink with friends. She’s bringing her 2 rescue kitties, and would like a spare bedroom for guests. A garage would be a big win! Price depends on condo fees, but we’re thinking a 2 bedroom unit under $300k is going to be ideal. She has a condo to sell, but her association is hoppin’ and we have no doubt it’ll be a quick sale. She’s well-qualified with a Conventional Loan.
Downsizing, but not too small – Having recently sold her massive single family home, this client is looking for her interim home. She’s gravitating towards communities like Dover, preferably a single family home, with a small yard (the less maintenance the better), something walkable with a community feel. No major rehab projects, please. Her ideal budget is under $350k.
Maine Life – Some folks visit Maine and can’t let it go. These folks have been visiting the York & Wells area for years and would like to finally call it home. They’d like to be 20-30 minutes from the beach. A year-round cottage, condo, or mobile home park that’s dog-friendly is a must. They have a beloved German Shepherd who is coming along. A 2 Bedroom home with an office is a good fit, as the husband works remotely. They’d like to keep their budget under $300k, and have a beautiful home in a very desireable area to sell.
Newlywed Shoppers – Well, almost. They’re getting married in October and are hoping to line up a new home before the snow flies. Currently renting wtih their 2 Corgis, this couple is looking for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home within 45m of Rollinsford, NH. They love both Maine and New Hampshire, and are open to both states. Their ideal home is a single family, with a little bit of land for gardening, and a garage or barn for their vehicles. They have an eye for design and aren’t afraid to tackle an ugly duckling, so long as it’s not a total gut job. They are well qualified, using a Conventional loan, and can close quickly.
Longtime looker – It’s been nearly 3 years since we began our search for a home in Hampton, NH. Being close to family and work is incredibly imporant to this client. She’d love a home in a neighborhood with a first floor bedroom, a ranch is ideal. A yard is important to her as well. She’s not afraid of an ugly house, however it cannot be a total rehab. If it can finance, we can swing it! We’d like to keep the budget under $400,000. The last house we made an offer on was an old woman’s estate, complete wtih 1950’s kitchen and wall paper. She absolutely loved the charm of that property, so if you know of something similar, perhaps a house sitting vacant, we would love for you to help us matchmake our client with her future home.
