What is your business, and what do you do?
Mama’s Moving Company offers professional moving services in the local seacoast area. We offer residential, business and in-home moving support. Our goal is to get your items from A to B safely, on-time and within estimate.
Tell us about the “AHA! Moment!” that led you to start your business:
When you imagine movers, does your brain conjure up some rather unsavory characters arriving in your driveway? Ours too. We believed we could offer something better to our community, so we did. Our crew is full of folks your Mama would be proud of. We also know that having a moving team in your home, around your family or at your business can be uncomfortable. That’s why our team is full of folks who are polite and a pleasure to be around. They are chosen for their expertise, professionalism and courtesy. We treat your belongings and your time as we would our own.
What do you love about your job?
We love watching our customers breathe a visible sigh of relief when they see that our crew has completed their move with coordination and efficiency. We love to watch the stress and concern fall away.
What makes you different from others in your industry?
We are a woman-owned and local-owned business. We aren’t the big guys: We’re locals in your community. We don’t have 100+ trucks … but we do regularly bump into past customers at the grocery store and we’re pretty proud of that. We live here, we work here. This is our community too. We are delighted to go above and beyond for our neighbors.
