This week we’d like to introduce you to Aubrey’s Coffeehouse & Bakery.
We wouldn’t be very good locals if we didn’t share this hidden gem with you, now would we?
We’re coffee snobs. Admitted freely.
And while Dunk’s is great in a pinch, and Aroma Joe’s is our location of choice…
Aubrey’s is about to turn in to our go-to destination for anything brewed from that delicious roasted little brown bean which helps power us through our days. Let us assure you…. this little wonder of a shop will not disappoint. Not even a little!
We dare you to resist the scent of a fresh baked cinnamon roll, paired with a hot cuppa perfect medium roast coffee. Have we mentioned this is an internet cafe too? So you can totally pull up a chair and get some work done while basking in the scent of each glorious item emerging from the oven.
Whether you’re going to dash in to pick up a quick order, or want to lounge around and enjoy your selected treats… this bakery is suited for both options. Comfortable seating is available for those who linger a while. Besides, it’s time you went on a coffee date. Or dessert date. Both work. You can grab lunch too!

Owner Aubrey Blanchette launched her namesake shop amidst the early days of the pandemic, in Spring of 2020. A feat in and of itself! I mean… Nobody is going to say no to a coffeehouse, internet cafe, and bakery… right? (well, if they do… we don’t want anything to do with that sort of negativity in our life…)
While this shop is tucked away in our little southern Maine town, it’s got enough taste to power the state for years to come. We’re so excited to see how quickly Aubrey’s has grown into a community staple for South Berwick! Coffeehouse vibes are just what we needed here, and maaaaaan this place delivers! Hopefully, we can help drive some more traffic their way…. because seriously, it should be on everyone’s bucket list to swing by and grab a sweet treat and delicious hot brew. Or iced. Whatever you like!
Diet restrictions? Not to worry – Aubrey’s offers Gluten Free, Vegan, and Dairy Free options too! It’s not just one or two items either… you get a great selection! How many bakeries do you know that cater to all sorts of folks!? Talk about nailing it perfectly! You can find seasonal treats, traditional favorites, and even new ideas amidst the miles of cupcakes, cookies, homemade whoopie pies, and all the other delicious goodies they crank out of their kitchen.
Aren’t too much a fan of the sweets? That’s covered too…
Scrumptious fresh salads, homemade paninis and sandwiches and so much more are to be found in this little local gem! We hear the breakfast sandwiches are pretty amazing .
Not only can you order right at the counter, but Aubrey’s has pre-packaged goodies, such as cupcakes, to go!
